Auctioneer of the Year: Peter Burgin, Place Estate Agents Peter started his auctioneering career selling plant and equipment, doing anywhere between 200 and 1,000 lots a day. This experience helped him develop an understanding of the skills required to be an auctioneer. When Peter started in real estate with Place Estate Agents about seven years ago, he set upon re ning everything he had learned so he could one day become a respected real estate auctioneer. Peter has now called thousands of auctions and says he has been fortunate to have shared some amazing results with many of Queensland's nest agents. Best Real Estate Report: Julie Gatehouse, My Property Preview, Sunshine Coast My Property Preview's leading feature writer Julie Gatehouse's journalism career started more than 20 years ago and since that time she has worked as a print journalist in Queensland, Sydney and the UK. She brings more than 10 years' experience in contract negotiations, sales and marketing. Prior to her appointment at Place, Paula worked as an account director for a global software company responsible for managing one of the company's largest accounts. Residential Property Manager of the Year: Katie Knight, RE/MAX Success As the property management director of RE/MAX Success in Toowoomba, Katie has been instrumental in the consistent organic growth of its rent roll, now topping around 1,210 residential properties in addition to approximately another 150 commercial and industrial buildings and storage shed complexes. Commercial Property Manager of the Year: Attilio Innamorati, Colliers International Attilio commenced his real estate career in 1987 in residential real estate and developed a keen interest in commercial property not long after. He has since developed vast experience in all realms of property, especially acquisitions through property management.
