So imagine how much more powerful your branding would be if you were the recipient of an REIQ Award for Excellence! To ensure that the REIQ recognises all industry sectors and professionals who comprise this dynamic industry in Queensland, we now have 14 categories of entry. Large Residential Agency of the Year (21 or more employees) Medium Residential Agency of the Year (Between 10 and 20 employees) Small Residential Agency of the Year (Less than 10 employees) Commercial Agency of the Year Residential Salesperson of the Year Commercial Salesperson of the Year Residential Property Manager of the Year Haesly Cush, 2008 Auctioneer of the Year REIQ Journal September 2008 Commercial Property Manager of the Year Buyer’s Agent of the Year Auctioneer of the Year Business Broker of the Year Corporate Support Person of the Year Achievement or Rookie of the Year; and Community Service Award As a result of member feedback, the Corporate Support Person of the Year and the Medium Residential Agency of the Year Award have been included for the first time in 2009. It is important to recognise the different agency practices and structures between large, medium and small residential agencies and to create a fair and equitable platform for these agencies to be recognised. Including a corporate support award also ensures we appropriately recognise the substantial contribution that agency administrators make to the success of an agency.
